The receiver performs a video recorder function via USB for recording TV and radio broadcasts on an external hard drive.

By HDTV is meant a full high-definition television, a digital broadcasting standard that offers picture and audio superior to that of traditional standard-definition television (SDTV). A standard TV has a 4:3 aspect ratio, it is 4 units wide X 3 units high. HDTV has a 16:9 aspect ratio, more like a movie screen. SDTV is the lowest standard resolution.

This receiver is new (in original box) and comes with Operating Manual, remote control, and cable.
