My wife and I are selling our 2019 Mercedes-Benz V250 Marco Polo due to PCS to a place where we are not able to export it. Otherwise, it would not be for sale.
This van has been amazing for me and my wife, and also for our adult children when they visit. It is comfortable enough to drive every day, very efficient on long trips, and fully set up for camping and traveling around Europe.
If you and your family want to explore Europe but still want a practical daily driver with low operating costs, you will love this Marco Polo. My wife and I would love to take you for a test drive with us so you can experience how this van drives, handles, maneuvers, and why we fell in love with it. It is quiet, smooth, comfortable, and drives much more like a luxury car than a normal van. Plenty of power for Autobahn, cruises easily at higher speeds, handles great, and is still easy in small city streets, parking garages/ tight spots.
2.0-liter turbo diesel, 200+ horsepower; we average 38–40 MPG with a Mercedes blue-efficiency clean diesel engine. On a full tank, range is 700+ miles. On most trips, we fill up at Esso near the German border and avoid buying fuel on the European economy.
We have maintained the van with factory Mercedes-Benz service/ all the records. Very little wear, all-season tires, plenty of life left, do not need to switch to winter tires.
Camper setup is one of the best parts. Has a sink, fresh-water tank, gray-water tank, shower extension, 2-burner cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, auxiliary battery, and outside power connection. We have only used the refrigerator so the microwave, stovetop, and sink are factory-new and unused. The fresh-water and gray-water tanks are dry and unused too.
The electric pop-top roof is another great feature. At night, it becomes a safe and comfortable upper bed for two adults, with screened side openings, lighting, and phone charging up top. During the day, the bed platform can be pushed up so you can stand fully upright inside the van. Sleeps 2 adults above and 2 adults below.
The second battery lets the refrigerator and accessories run when the engine is off. It also comes with the power cable, so you can plug in at a campsite or at home and run the camper systems while charging the battery.
It has a diesel parking-heater, which quietly heats the van when parked, can run off the aux battery so no electric power required to keep warm with the engine off. This is really nice for cold weather, winter camping, or overnight stops.
Front seats are heated, reclining and also swivel around to face the back when camping. The passenger rear seats recline electrically and fold flat into a bed. They can also be removed if you want cargo space. There is a folding table in the rear seating area, so you can eat, work, relax, or hang out inside.
Equipped for safe and easy driving. It has adaptive cruise control, accident avoidance, lane-change warning, factory GPS/navigation, parking sensors, backup camera, and 360-degree camera. The adaptive cruise is great on long drives because the van keeps distance from the car ahead while you are in cruise mode.
My wife and I have taken this van all over Europe, including Milan, Bodensee, Munich, Nuremberg, Zugspitze, Edelweiss, the Dolomites, Davos, Geneva, Zurich, Como, Lugano, Portofino, Gstaad, Monaco, Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Baden-Baden, Luxembourg, Paris, Livorno, Cinque Terre, Vicenza, Venice, Pisa, Florence, Tuscany, Rome, Naples, the Amalfi Coast, London, Nottingham, Poznan, Leipzig, Prague, and many other places. We even took the ferry to the UK and drove on the wrong side of the road! Our adult children have also enjoyed using it with us when they visit. Most of the mileage is highway mileage… obviously!
We will include the Camper Garmin GPS with Europe maps that helps find best campsites, camping resources, features, and better routes when traveling as a camper.
One of our favorite things about our van is how easy it makes long trips. You can stop, rest, make coffee or food, take a nap, and keep going. It also makes travel much more affordable with low fuel costs and campsite prices compared to hotels.
Registered in USAREUR POV with new 2-year inspection valid through March 2028. Also ull German title, so it can be sold within the Army/Air Force community or on the German economy.
Owned free and clear with no lien. We have the title in hand, so there is no waiting for bank paperwork.
